Think about a time when someone challenged your opinion or told you that you were wrong. What was the disagreement about, and how did you defend yourself? Did you change their mind, or did they change yours?

 10/19

Prompt: Think about a time when someone challenged your opinion or told you that you were wrong. What was the disagreement about, and how did you defend yourself? Did you change their mind, or did they change yours?

Prompt Response: One time I got into a debate about the difference in a social studies class and a history class. The person I was debating claimed that there was no difference but I claimed that there is. As evidence I decided to compare and contrasts my own history and social studies classes because I'm taking AP U.S History and AP African American studies. I showcased how in AP U.S History we learn about past events in a chronological order whereas in AP African American we analyze the societal structures and current events. In the end I wasn't able to change their mind and they couldn't change mine.

Summary: In class we learned fifteen new vocabulary words and did an assignment according to them.

Reflection: I learned new words to add to my vocabulary. It will help expand my vocabulary, ecspecially in my writing.
